Founded in 2003 by Yap Sooi Keong, Dynasty Dragon Group began with a simple dream, which was to bring people together through authentic Chinese cuisine. Today, we have evolved into a modern Chinese dining brand where Eastern heritage meets contemporary elegance, delivering memorable experiences through refined interiors, cultural artistry, and quality cuisine.

From our signature Terracotta warrior entrances to elegant seating and curated décor, every detail is designed to enhance both visual and dining enjoyment. The Beginning

In 2003, our founder Yap Sooi Keong took his first step into the restaurant industry while managing his seafood and pork wholesale business. Driven by a deep passion for food and hospitality, he opened his first restaurant, Tsui Village, specialising in seafood and Cantonese cuisine, laying the foundation for its journey in the food and beverage industry.

Expansion into Seafood Dining

In 2005, he extended his vision into the seafood dining scene by launching Restoran Pulau Langat Seafood Centre located in Telok Gong, Klang. The seafood restaurant was inspired by floating fishing boats and offering a unique scenic seafood dining experience.

Premium Dining Exploration

In 2006, our founder ventured further and launched the third restaurant, Golden Palace, offering an elevated Chinese banquet and dining experience.

The Birth of Dynasty Dragon

In 2009, Dynasty Dragon Group was officially established, marking the beginning of a more structured and ambitious chapter for the brand. Built on the principles of quality, integrity, and authentic Chinese cuisine. Within four years, the Group expanded to eight outlets, rapidly strengthening its presence across the Klang Valley and surrounding areas.

Headquarters Completion

In 2014, The Group’s corporate headquarters was officially inaugurated, marking a new phase of organisational maturity and operational structure.

Resilience Through Challenges

In 2020, like many in the F&B industry, Dynasty Dragon faced significant challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. The group streamlined its operations to four core outlets and focused on strengthening its core outlets to prepare for the future.

Consolidation & Flagship Launch

In 2025, the Group strategically consolidated operations into two core outlets, C180 Balakong and Klang Parade, allowing resources to focus on long-term growth. Construction of the five-storey flagship project, Grand Lumière Ballroom (Puchong), also commenced with an investment exceeding RM20 million, paving the way for its 2026 launch.

A New Chapter Begins

In 2026, Dynasty Dragon unveiled its most ambitious project — the Grand Lumière Ballroom in Puchong, a five-storey flagship marking the brand’s next chapter of growth and innovation. Its grand opening hosted 76 banquet tables and approximately 760 guests, symbolising renewal and confidence. The development features grand wedding halls, banquet spaces, dining facilities, a central kitchen, and dedicated parking, reflecting the Group’s move into asset ownership and flagship brand growth.
